If you are anti-gun, you may want to stop now.  Because we went out shooting and it was fun!

Uncle Jonathan taught Marian how to handle a weapon.  She was excited to learn to shoot.

She's ready to shoot the .22.

Serious concentration here.  I'm not sure she  hit the target, but she did a good job trying.

Isabelle brought out the BB guns and Callie couldn't wait to try shooting the rifle.

Callie enjoyed it thoroughly.  She managed to shoot the target "a bunch of times" she said.

Marian gave the rifle a try as well and proclaimed it fun.

Even Joshua bestirred himself to leave the house when he heard there was some shooting going on.  He was very excited to shoot the rifle and was delighted to hit the target.  Since the BBs are so small, they hung a can on a post and you could hear the "ping" when you hit it.  It was a good time for the kids!
