Family Reunion!

Saturday July 5- Friday July 11 was our family reunion!  It consisted of Dan's folks, all his siblings and nearly all of the third generation.  We had 10 adults and 13 kids there.  The only ones missing were 2 nephews. It was a lot of fun and pretty relaxing to hang out and be together.  I am really grateful for in-laws who put a priority on getting us together and

We stayed at El Colorado Lodge in Manitou Springs.

 The separate "cabins" worked well to give each family their own space.  We also had the main building for gathering and meals.

The playground was fun for the kids.

And there were a couple deer that were not very afraid of people!  See how close the girls are to this one?!!

 Marian just slid down the mountainside.  This cliff was behind the lodge and the kids could not resist it.  Most of them came back bleeding after their attempts. She did not get hurt this time.
