Wrapping it up

Tuesday morning I was able to stop and visit two friends.  I'm such a bad person, I didn't get a photo of us at all!! I stopped by my friend Steph's house and the kids played while we visited. Next, we stopped at a park to meet up with my friend Beth.  Her daughter played with the girls while Beth and I caught up and I enjoyed it immensely.  I love that I have such great friends.

The park where we met up with Beth.

The girls had a great time playing on it.

And climbing this awesome tree.

But I'm pretty sure these photos were all taken in the 10 minutes before Beth got there, and then I put the phone/camera down and didn't pick it up again.  Sigh.

But then we got to Cedar City and met up with Dan and Delaney..... and Levi!  Dan did get a fun video of Levi seeing  us for the first time in months.  He was excited.  So were we.

Dan took the girls to the pool on Wednesday.  Rylee said it was the best pool ever.

And I do love where my in-laws live.  We walked out the door, down the street an into the mountain.

Levi was thrilled to be with us on the hike.

And it was so pretty!  Rylee was happy to pose for me.

And I wanted a selfie.  How fun, to live right in the mountains!

Hotel Pools are the Best

After the Reunion, Dan headed out with Delaney and went directly to Cedar City.  I took the other 3 girls and we had more leisurely travels.  We stopped at a hotel for the night on Monday and they were able to enjoy the pool.

....Well, two of them did.

These two had a blast in the water.

This one did not.  Apparently I was in charge of her googles and no fun could be had without them.

So these two splashed and played, while Rylee sulked.

Did I mention how much fun they had?

Yeah, it still didn't sway Rylee and eventually we had to curtail the good times and go back to the room.

Wrapping Up the Reunion

The Reunion ended on Monday, and here are a few last photos- not necessarily from Sunday or Monday.

Marian managed to find a little friend!

And Marian had a blast playing volleyball.  She discovered that when you play for fun and no one is shouting at you, it is a LOT of fun!

Adam had a lazy after-church nap.

And Miley showed off her cool new hair.

Delaney had a great time playing pool with Sarah.

And Rylee was fun to watch with Liza.  So cute!

An exciting day for Josh

In a complicated chain of events, Josh ended up with a car.  Adam drove it out to the Reunion, and Josh got to leave with it.  It was very exciting!

Here he is with his new set of wheels.

He was pretty thrilled with it.

He had to leave the Reunion Sunday evening.  This is our goodbye photo.  I love this kid!

Selfie with Josh and McKenna before they left.  It was so great to have them at the Reunion.

The kids thought so too.

Lots of goodbye love for Josh.

Family Silliness and Brotherly Love

We had scheduled an evening for Dad and his brother to talk to our families- to reminisce about growing up and getting married.... all the fun family history stuff.  So we all crowded into the living room of the Fox cabin and were entertained.

Some people made their own entertainment.  Miley thought Josh was the best thing ever and she was definitely entertained.

Three cheesy grins.

Adam eventually just fell asleep. It was mid afternoon and it WAS nap time, so not a totally unexpected outcome.

I, of course, was enthralled by dad and Steve.

And who wouldn't be?  It was fun to hear about their growing up and meeting their lovely brides.

Whoops, lost another one! Issy couldn't keep her eyes open either.

So she missed out on this....

......And this!

Josh and McKenna stayed awake and you can see how impressed they were.

Liza thought Grandpa was the best, and just HAD to sit on his lap.

She was adorable.

And sure that everyone was there to see her.  (Of course we were!)

And I got this photo, which made me happy.

Beach Day

Well, the Reunion WAS at Bear Lake, so we really should go to the lake, right?!  We did go and it was quite lovely.  We rented some kayaks and they were enjoyed for the two hours we had them.

This little cutie was hysterical.  She was happy to eat dirt, and to drink gross lake water.  I support building healthy immure systems, but it was still gross.

Josh made me laugh as well.

He and McKenna (his lovely lady) took a kayak out for a spin.

Rylee was hard at work building a sandcastle.

A work in progress.  But an impressive work!

Marian also wanted to go out on the Kayak.  Dan obliged as second paddler. The other girls had no interest in going out.  They just wanted to work on the sandcastle.

They kayaks were fun and I went out for a bit with Steven and then Samantha.  It is quite the arm workout!

The finished product!

Okay, so the girls were not really finished, but I was done and ready to go.

So we took one final photo of their glorious masterpiece and then headed somewhere with air conditioning and showers.
