Rylee was being silly at bedtime and running around when her sisters were suppose to be getting ready for bed. While there was more than one version of the story, the result was the same. It ended badly for her.
She whacked her head on the door frame and managed to do it in a way that produced a hideous and sizable lump on her noggin. Check it out! Poor kid cried a while and needed an ice pack. I thought it might turn purple, you know, like a giant purple pox, but it didn't. It shrunk and faded to a greenish spot in a couple days and all is well. But if she turns into a ditzy blond when she's older, you'll know why!

That would have been a massive purple pox. My kids always seem to bonk their noses and get bloody noses instead of lumps on their foreheads.
