Walking to the starting point at the Lake, wearing pristine white shirts.
The goodie bags we got when signing up contained a color packet. So the girls put them to use.
They were VERY excited to get as much color as possible.
There may have been a bit of drizzle, but it didn't dampen Rylee!
And there was still a color-storm at the color stations!
Rylee was delighted with how much color she had.
Delaney wanted a photo too.
The blue station threw it right in my face. Thanks guys. I looked like a Smurf by the end, after it rained some more.
We found Marian and her friends!
Rylee did run a bit, but took it slow thru the color stations to maximize saturation.
They were running out of color on the way back. (The course was an out and back down the sea wall.)
The girls had a great time throwing color packets they swiped from the color stations.
Having a great time and loving it!
Rylee wanted to know what she looked like. She's pretty colorful!
And so is Delaney.
This is the "after" shot. Ryle had to take off her glasses since they were covered with color powder and there was no clean surface to wash them with.
Rylee is photobombing this picture of Marian and her friend Angel.
PS the color.... yeah, it washed right out of our clothes, but it sure did not want to come off skin! It required soap and scrubbing. Someone may still have a blue neck.
