A couple in Dad's ward had a tree fall on their roof during a recent storm. Dad recruited us to go help chop into movable pieces. It was a delightful morning! It was hot, sweaty work and we hauled cut limbs to the trailer. The trunk needed to be cut into chunks so we could haul it to the trailer. Dad took the opportunity to teach the girls to use the chainsaw. They loved it. And some embraced it with more confidence than others.
Overall we had a great morning of service and a good workout. It was impressive how much we were able to get done with so many helping hands.
