Stuff we did

The girls loved on the chickens.  They each had a name. Callie would catch bugs in the garden and the chickens learned to come over to be hand fed the tasty bugs.  

We went to a library event for the kids and my niece Samantha got to help the magician with part of his act.  It was well done and vastly entertaining. 

I think Rylee took this picture.  She loved to steal her grandfather's phone and leave secret selfies on it.  

We went to Walmart to pick out new glasses.  This was not the winning pair, but Rylee wanted to see how they looked on her. She did find a pair she liked and she sure is cute!

A sizable box arrived with goodies from Amazon and Delaney had a blast making it into a "house".

Big Helper

 Dad decided to tackle some big projects while we were there.  One of them was to repaint the bathroom. This necessitated a removal of all items from every cupboard so that they could be painted, inside and out.  Delaney was delighted to assist with the painting and she did a pretty good job!

BFFs!

 My amazing and awesome friend drove 6 hours out to come and visit me.  She and her family stayed just 2 nights and then left Sunday after church.  It was so great to see her again.  I love her and her family.  I think they had fun.  They enjoyed the chickens and that was fun.

Sunday Selfie! 

 The sun was rather bright, which did not make for great photos.  Plus, I'm still a little jet-lagged and haven't slept well, so I feel and look a little underwhelming.Whatever, I'm hanging out with my friend!

And the girls loved it.  April did all 4 girls' hair for church!  It was great.

A new friend!

 Marian found the largest walking stick I have ever seen! And they hung out together for a bit.  Check this bad boy out.  (And stay tuned for a classic Rylee selfie at the bottom.)

Cousins and Chicks

 Kera and most of her kids came to hang out when Kristy and her minions left.  The girls especially enjoyed harassing...er...holding the new baby chicks.  I think the chicks were a little less thrilled. Please enjoy the selfies, shenanigans and, sweet little chickens.
